He needs the added responsibility with the playoffs approaching: the tempo will be slower and he will likely get more touches. I just wish the coach had the stones to start Speights and let him sink or swim, rather than going to Evans, who''s ceiling had been reached long ago. He''s not a starter, he''d even tell you that himself. This team may still get the fifth seed, as long as we take care of business and steal a win or two. Hopefully the recovery point for Thad is two weeks rather than three, so we have a solid chance of beating the Hawks. If we will do that, I will call this season as a success, because that was what I thought the ceiling was for this team going in. With how it all played out, it is good to see they still have a chance to reach that plateau. This team almost didn''t take care of business last night against the Bucks. It''s troublesome. We need these gimme games as the margin for error is decreasing. Play like this against the Pistons and we may chalk up another loss.
